EPB Course – Effective Participation in International Trade Fairs
International Trade Fair is a great platform to search for potential foreign buyers in order to expand the business in the internal arena. To participate in the international fair that happens in foreign countries effectively, the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) ensures training programs in the form of seminars and workshops to train the exhibitors. To this effect, the National Export Training Program (NETP) undertaken by EPB plays a pivotal role in building their capacity in terms of showcasing exhibits, buyer handling, negotiation, noting queries made by potential buyers, exhibitors’ manners and attitude while in the booth, and post-fair communication. EPB also provides necessary tips by organizing briefing meetings before the show. In every financial year,
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) participates in about 30-35 international sourcing fairs abroad every year. Exporters of the different export sector of the country participate in the international fairs. This seminar focus on introduces entrepreneurs/exporters how to participate effectively in international trade fairs, develop the communication skills, selection and sending of displayed products, negotiations with the buyers, stall decoration etc.
This one day seminar is delivering by experienced resource person with the keynote speech. Participants are able to participate in the discussion and give their important opinions in the open discussion session. Participation fee is free of charge.
